In Memory of Lindsey Gunter Lindsey Jack Gunter, 68, of McKinney passed away on May 13, 2003 in Plano. On May 21, 1954 he married Norita Donaldson in McKinney. He was the President of the Collin County Umpire Association, the co-director of the Mickey Mantle World Series and one of the main reasons why baseball thrives in McKinney today. His contributions to the community of McKinney is why this city is the baseball hub of North Texas, with other such noteble figures such as Gabe Nesbitt and Al Alford. Lindsey passed away from liver cancer.
